How to use this template

How many colors should students use?
There is no fixed rule, but tracing 3–7 times (one per rainbow color) is a natural range. Even two or three passes build meaningful muscle memory without becoming overwhelming.
Do I need to laminate the sheet for reuse?
Lamination is optional. A laminated copy with a dry-erase marker is great for centers. For homework or daily seat work, printing a fresh copy each session is just as effective.
