How to use this template

  1. Print the template on one side of a standard sheet of paper — landscape orientation.
  2. Fold the paper in half lengthwise (hot-dog fold), then unfold and fold in half widthwise (hamburger fold) twice.
  3. Unfold completely and make one short cut along the centre fold between the two middle panels.
  4. Refold lengthwise and push the two outer ends toward the centre to form the 8-page booklet — pages will fan open naturally.
  5. Students label the cover, number pages if desired, then write and illustrate each page for their chosen project.
