Explore Ant body parts in an interactive 3D model. Rotate, select labels, learn each part’s role, and play a matching game for primary science. Head: The head carries the eyes, antennae, and jaws. The jaws help the ant carry food, dig, and defend itself. Antennae: Two elbowed antennae help the ant smell and touch. Ants use chemical signals to follow trails and communicate. Thorax: All six legs attach to the thorax. In ants, the first abdominal segment is joined to this middle region; together they are called the mesosoma. Abdomen: The abdomen includes the narrow waist and the large rear section. It contains organs used for digestion and other life processes. Legs: Three pairs of jointed legs help the ant walk, climb, and carry loads. All six attach to the middle body region.
Drag to rotate, scroll or pinch to zoom, and select a body part to read its name and function. The labelled list also supports keyboard navigation.
Choose Match labels. Connect each label to its matching dot on the model. Drag a line, or tap a label and then a dot. Correct connections stay visible until every label is matched.
This is a simplified model for learning the main external parts. It does not show every structure, internal anatomy, or natural variation.
