Is the AI school schedule generator really free?

Yes. You can create, edit, save locally, and export a school timetable without an account. AI chat has a fair-use limit of 30 requests per hour; manual editing and exports remain unlimited.

Which teacher and curriculum files can I upload?

The assistant accepts XLSX, CSV, TSV, PDF, DOCX, TXT, and Markdown files. You can attach up to three files, with a 10 MB limit per file and 20 MB combined.

Does the tool check timetable clashes?

Yes. A deterministic scheduling engine checks teacher, class, room, availability, break-period, workload, and lesson-count rules. The AI interprets your instructions, while the solver validates placements.

Can I edit the timetable manually?

Yes. Add classes, days, periods, teachers, subjects, and rooms; click any cell to edit it; or drag lessons to empty slots. Hard conflicts are blocked and every action can be undone.

Where is my schedule saved?

The schedule is stored only in this browser. Raw uploads are sent for the current AI request and are not saved in browser storage or a KiwiBee database.

Can I download the completed school timetable?

Yes. Filter the timetable to one class and download that class as Excel or a high-resolution PNG, or choose All classes to export the complete school timetable. Excel also includes teacher timetables and unresolved issues.
