Festival Postcards Kids Can Send to Friends (Free Printable)
KiwiBee
Writing for a real reader transforms effort. A postcard gives children a tiny, achievable piece of writing with a genuine purpose — and a picture to design.
How to use postcards in class
1. **Pick an occasion.** A festival, the end of term, a class pen-pal, or a "thank you". 2. **Study a real postcard.** Note the picture side, message, address and stamp. 3. **Draw first.** The picture side is the hook — let creativity lead. 4. **Write the message.** Short and warm; perfect for practising openers and sign-offs. 5. **Address and "send"** — to a friend in class, another class, or home.
