Printable Classroom Reward & Gift Cards (Free Templates)
By KiwiBee
A small card in a child's hand often beats a point on a screen. Printable reward cards are cheap, tangible and easy to send home — a quick win for classroom recognition.
How to use reward cards well
- Be specific. Write why on the card ("for helping a friend"), not just "well done".
- Make them rare-ish. Over-handing dilutes the value.
- Send some home. Parents love seeing them; it strengthens the home-school link.
- Let children award them too — peer recognition is powerful.
- Mix instant and saved rewards — some cards to keep, some to "cash in".
How to use the free template
Print the sheet, cut along the lines, and you have a stack of ready-to-write cards with space for a name and date. Keep a pile on your desk so you can hand one over the moment you catch a child doing something right.
Quick tips
- Print on coloured card for instant "specialness".
- Pair with a class display of who's earned one this week.
