Halloween & Seasonal Card Templates for Kids
By KiwiBee
Seasonal cards are a quick, joyful way to practise writing for a reader. Halloween, in particular, gets even reluctant writers reaching for spooky vocabulary.
How to use seasonal cards
- Build a word bank of seasonal vocabulary first.
- Fold and decorate the front using the line-art motifs.
- Write a short message inside — a riddle, a rhyme, or a friendly note.
- Swap or display the finished cards.
How to use the free template
The sheet has four fold-line cards, each with a simple motif (pumpkin, bat, ghost, moon) and blank lines inside. Print, cut and fold — children decorate the front and write the message. Perfect for the last lesson before a holiday.
Quick tips
- Pair with a spooky-vocabulary or alliteration mini-lesson.
- Use as a reward activity for finished work.
