Brag Tags: Free Printable Templates for Teachers

Brag tags are small, collectible tags children earn and wear or keep on a ring. They turn good choices into a quiet, ongoing celebration — and children genuinely chase them.

How to use brag tags

1. **Decide your categories.** Effort, kindness, resilience, reading milestones. 2. **Hand them out in the moment** so the link to the behaviour is clear. 3. **Give children a place to keep them** — a ring, a lanyard, or a display. 4. **Celebrate milestones** ("ten tags!") to keep momentum. 5. **Keep some rare** so the special ones stay special.

How to use the free template

Print the sheet, cut out the tags, and write or stamp the achievement. Punch a hole at the top so children can collect them on a ring. Blank tags let you reward exactly what your class needs this term.
