虚构序列使用标准遗传密码。RNA与5′→3′编码链一致，但用U替代T。翻译在第一个终止密码子处结束。字母是氨基酸代码。末尾不完整的三联体不参与翻译。若本段没有终止密码子，翻译会在本段之外继续。
