Sobre esta simulação
Body Anatomy is a full-body 3D anatomy explorer based on the BodyParts3D adult male reference. Students can rotate and zoom the model, reveal or hide 14 anatomical systems, search 3,390 named concepts, select individual structures, and separate the body into an exploded view. It is an educational reference, not a diagnostic or surgical tool.
O que os alunos podem explorar
- Toggle skeletal, muscular, circulatory, nervous, respiratory, digestive, urinary, endocrine, lymphatic, sensory, connective, cardiac, and body-surface systems.
- Search named anatomical concepts, select a structure on the model, and isolate it from surrounding anatomy.
- Move from an assembled body to separated systems and a fully exploded inventory of 2,209 modeled pieces.
- Compare front, back, side, and three-quarter views while rotating and zooming the body.
Objetivos de aprendizagem
- 1Identify major organs and structures and relate them to their anatomical systems.
- 2Explain how body systems occupy and overlap within the same three-dimensional space.
- 3Use anatomical names and spatial evidence from the model to describe a selected structure.
Perguntas frequentes dos professores
Is Body Anatomy free to use?
Yes. The explorer runs in a modern browser with no sign-up or download required.
What anatomy does the model represent?
It uses BodyParts3D 4.0, an adult male reference anatomy. The KiwiBee edition omits the reproductive anatomy and leaves 2,209 modeled source meshes and 3,390 named concepts. It does not represent every human structure or variation.
Can students search for individual organs and body parts?
Yes. Students can search anatomical names and identifiers, select matching structures, and isolate them for closer inspection.
